Comments: This house is in a really lovely elevated position, with a private grass drive.  The location alone makes it worth consideration. It may well require total demolition and rebuild but there are huge advantages to be had by doing this. It makes it possible to change the complete layout of the house (within certain guidelines) and new regulations have been introduced in 2009 which allows for the existing volume to be increased by up to an additional 35%.  There is ample room in the garden for a swimming pool and the outbuilding would make a substantial pool house or a small apartment / granny annex. If you are looking for a holiday / permanent home for the greater family to use, it’s always worth considering pooling resources which gives you a greater freedom of choice and a rebuild allows you to build the house you want.
