Description: This is a pretty family town house situated in a tiny village (pop. c. 90) at the foot of the Monti Sibillini. The houses which make up the village sit either side of the access road leading to a tiny piazza and the wonderful old church with it’s bell tower rising up against a mountain backdrop.  There is another smaller house attached to the rear of the building which is inhabited.

The house comes with a number of outbuildings:  An old cowshed behind the house (about 72 sq metres over 2 floors) with water, electrics and a drain.  A further shed which leads to the small garden at the rear of the house with a cantina and an outside bread oven (about 75 sq metres).  A shed, next to the house but not attached, (about 20 sq metres.)  On the opposite side of the road are two further buildings, one a small open barn and the other a garage surrounded by a garden with trees.

Distances:

5 minutes to the mountains

40 minutes to the coast.

90 minutes to Ancona airport

3.5 hours to Rome and Florence

What to do:

Cycling, horse riding, walking/trekking, fishing, quad biking, climbing, tennis, health and beauty, skiing and shopping ~ all close by.

Comments:

This is a truly pretty house, completely habitable and has been decorated in a country style with some trompe l’oeil panels in the living area, and requires only a bit of finishing to the stairs which take you up to the attic. There is enough space with all the outbuildings to accommodate any hobby and the tiny garden (which needs a bit of tlc) is shaded by mature trees (lends itself well to a paved courtyard) but is an easily manageable size.  Perfect as a holiday home since you can lock it up and leave it.
